Film direction class in Lucknow: what to learn and how to choose

Becoming a director depends on set experience more than on a degree. Before you pick a direction class, see what 90 days can teach and what to check yourself before taking admission.

What a director actually does

A director answers for every decision that puts a story on screen: which shot, which lens, how the actors move, when the scene stops. It comes less from books and more from doing it on set again and again. So a good direction class is one where you get to run the set yourself, not only watch others run it.

What you can learn in 90 days

The first month of our film direction course builds an understanding of acting, because a director who does not understand actors cannot get work out of them. The second month covers the technical side of direction, and the third month is your own episode on a real set.
