Indian Films Academy is a dedicated training centre for cinematic acting that bridges the gap between acting education and the professional film industry.
It was founded in 2019 by film director and acting mentor Yogesh Mishrra, with a practical approach to screen acting. Through his own method, Yogesh CineAct, the academy has trained more than 100 students who now work across the entertainment industry.
In 2026 Mr Dinesh Kumar Sahgal joined as co-founder. A former Deputy Director in the Information and Public Relations Department and at Film Bandhu, Government of Uttar Pradesh, he brings over 30 years of leadership and a secure, ethical and professional pathway for students.
Training here goes beyond the classroom. Working actors, directors, producers and casting directors regularly visit to mentor students, and our own production house, PICHCHRAPA, gives them real shoots to work on.

Yogesh CineAct
Yogesh Mishrra's method prepares the actor from within. It rests on four pillars: Believing, Respect, Seriousness and Enjoying. Its core components are the Observation System (Micro, Nano, Combination and Live Observation) and the Emotional Flow Engine (shifting and measuring emotion).
Alongside, students learn the Indian tradition of Natyashastra and the nine rasas, and international techniques such as Stanislavski, Stella Adler and Meisner.
